Delivery Anywhere and Always Fresh

The freshness of coffee is something on which we will never compromise. We will be happy to deliver freshly roasted coffee whenever you need it. We pack coffee in 5 kg buckets, 1 kg or 300 g bags so that it is always in the best condition whether in large or small operations.

Staff Training

It's not a coffee order bonus, it's an obligation! We run a training center in Prague, where we will train your staff members once you start ordering our coffee. New employees will, naturally, be included as they join your team as the way you are going to prepare your coffee says it all about you and us both. Who will be taking care of you?

A team of professionals with years of experience in the role of barista and perfect understanding of all aspects of coffee preparation. Our duo Ondřej and Ondrej will be here for you whenever you need them. They will advise you on the selection of coffee, help with the selection and installation of technologies and ensure their service. They will visit you regularly and always answer their phones. During the training, Tereza will ensure that you and your staff know the path of our coffee all the way from the bush to the cup and that you are able to prepare it at the premium level.

Ondřej Hurtík

Ondrej has been involved with coffee since 2010. He was at the opening of our espresso bar in Alza and then moved to café Místo. For the last several years, he has been taking care of you, our wholesale customers. Together with Katherine, Tereza and Yara, they regularly go to coffee farms to select coffee there, directly from source. Ondřej has attended an inexhaustible number of barista competitions and achieved several significant successes, including the Barista of the Year title. He is a four-time champion of Coffee in Good Spirits and a Vice-World champion in the same category. If you need help with drinks on your menu, he will be happy to share his expertise.

Daniel Pracný

Daniel Pracný

Daniel first came across specialty coffee as an employee of an IT corporation during one of the expos where doubleshot had their coffee catering stands. Few years later he decided, as many others, to switch form IT to coffee. In 2017 he started in Alza espresso bar, which he likes to call the best incubator for all doubleshot baristas. After 4 years he moved to cafe Misto where he stayed until 2022, when he became wholesale manager for the Czech Republic. Daniel competed in several barista competitions, visited farms in Guatemala and currently takes care of most of our wholesale customers. He spends his free time acting in theatre, singing in a choir or playing piano.

Tereza Balá

Tereza Balá

If you are among our regular customers, you may have met Tereza behind the bar in one of our cafés. She is the Czech Barista Champion of the Year 2010 and had represented our country at the World Barista Championship in London, where we met her and never let her go. She has been taking care of our training center in Prague since the beginning, as well as travelling to origin to select our coffees after each crop. Tereza is an avid proponent of heavy weight athletics (Strong First certified trainer) and a big soccer fan. Today, you might meet her strolling around one of our shops with her newly born baby girl.

Kateřina Myšková

If you are attending one of our barista courses, you will surely meet our Katerina. She has been around the coffee world for many years, mainly as a competitor at various barista competitions (2nd this year at the Czech Barista championship), as well as a judge or organizer. Besides running the doubleshot training center, she is part of our green bean buying team, travelling to origin countries not only to select new coffees but also to learn more about processing and cultivation of coffee. Katherine is certified AST (Authorized SCA Trainer). When she is not leading a coffee workshop you will find her on cross-country skis, bike or running around the woods.

Łukasz Stępniak

Lukasz is our new member who is responsible for the Polish market. He has been working with coffee for the last 10 years. Started as a barista, gradually advanced to a head barista and a cafe manager. Last 6 years he has spent conducting trainings and organising events for the oldest specialty coffee roastery in Poland. At work he values professionalism and customer service at the highest level. He makes sure that every coffee tastes as good as possible. Lukasz participated at the Aeropress and Cup Tasters competitions. He completed SCA training in the Barista, Brewing and Sensory modules. He visited coffee plantations in Honduras and Guatemala and his life goal is to develop the coffee culture in Poland.

Can you supply coffee to offices as well?
The offer covers gastronomic operations. If you are interested in the office coffee service, we can do that too. Here is the information and an inquiry form.
Will you help us with the equipment of the café?
We can supply you with all technical equipment and common coffee utensils. But don't expect parasols and tablecloths, we only offer the tools essential and important for making coffee. We are a distributor of stylish espresso coffee machines Kees van der Westen and Nuova Simonelli and quality coffee grinders by the Italian brand of Anfim. Filtered coffee is easily prepared using Dutch coffee machines of Moccamaster. We have everything you can think of for the manual preparation of filtered coffee. We are distributors of many brands of accessories such as Hario, AeroPress and Clever Dripper.
Does your offer include additional assortment such as tea and chocolate?
No, it does not. We will be happy to recommend colleagues with whom our cafés work. We understand coffee and leave the rest to those who are experts in their respective fields of business.
How often do you deliver coffee?
We roast coffee to order every weekday. We then ship it using a shipping company no later than the next working day after the order placement.
Can I sell your coffee in my venue if I buy it in a regular e-shop?
No, you cannot. All companies that offer our coffee can only order it in the company’s name and wholesale. The reason is that we want to get to know each and every of our customers and make sure that we are of the same opinion when it comes to quality.
Where can I taste your coffee?
We run three Prague cafés, namely Můj šálek kávy, Místo and the Espresso Bar at Alza.cz. However, you can taste our coffee in dozens of venues in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and in several more in Poland, Austria, Hungary and Germany. This page shows their locations on a map.
How often do you change the selection on offer?
We change the offer of espresso coffees at least once every 3 months. There is always one espresso mix to choose from and one single blend. The selection for the preparation of filtered coffees changes several times a month. We don't have any of the coffees all year round.
