
Who is the course for?
We have prepared the course for all espresso enthusiasts who take coffee as a hobby and try to achieve the best possible results at home.
The workshop is intended for all beginner coffee enthusiasts without the need for previous knowledge.

What will you learn?
In the theoretical part, we will explain the basic factors that affect the taste and quality of espresso. Whether it is the criteria according to which you will choose coffee (for example, the processing method or the country of origin), or the technologies you use.
In the practical part, you will learn how to work with the grinder and set individual variables when preparing espresso so that the resulting taste suits you as much as possible. We will show you various tools and explain what they are used for. We will not forget about taking care of the equipment - you will learn how to properly clean the grinder and coffee machine.
Next, we will focus on the correct technique for frothing milk so that you can prepare quality milk drinks such as cappuccino or flat white. Finally, you will also try the basics of latte art.

Not sure how to set up your grinder or coffee maker? Feel free to bring them with you and we will focus directly on your needs during the course.
Course as a gift

Who will train you?
Our main lecturer at the doubleshot coffee school, Nikola Divincová, will guide you through the entire course. Nikola has been in the world of specialty coffee for more than ten years. During that time, she has gained a wealth of experience not only behind the coffee machine, but also by visiting farms and participating in global coffee fairs. She is also well-versed in the world of competitions - whether as a competitor, judge or coach. Coffee and the community around it have always interested her as a whole, so you may also know her from panel discussions or as a moderator. In addition to leading our coffee school and fully utilizing her pedagogical roots, she also co-creates the doubleshot podcast with Ondřej.
