
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for all those who have fallen for the magic of filtered specialty coffee and want to improve their preparation.
The workshop is designed for all beginner coffee enthusiasts without the need for previous experience, but also for those who want to expand their knowledge.

What will you learn?
In the first part of the course, we will explain the main factors influencing the final taste of filtered coffee – terroir, processing method or roasting. But also those that you can influence – method, filters, water, etc. We will list the individual variables in the filtered coffee recipe and explain how we can adjust them for the best cup of coffee.
The second part of the course will be dedicated to the preparation itself, when you will try out the most popular preparation methods. We will taste everything during the course, compare and try changing the variables for a better result.

Who will train you?
Our main lecturer at the doubleshot coffee school, Nikola Divincová, will guide you through the entire course. Nikola has been in the world of specialty coffee for more than ten years. During that time, she has gained a wealth of experience not only behind the coffee machine, but also by visiting farms and participating in global coffee fairs. She is also well-versed in the world of competitions - whether as a competitor, judge or coach. Coffee and the community around it have always interested her as a whole, so you may also know her from panel discussions or as a moderator. In addition to leading our coffee school and fully utilizing her pedagogical roots, she also co-creates the doubleshot podcast with Ondřej.
